Your Toronto ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter will host an evening with Academy Award© winning filmmaker Chris Landreth on May 14th @ 7pm.
Come for a personalized showcase and screening of the SIGGRAPH-based story –Subconscious Password – in partnership with the National Film Board of Canada. See a demonstration of the finest computer graphic techniques brought to you by the engineer, animator, and filmmaker himself, Chris Landreth. What’s most interesting is how Chris has mastered his art to produce such compelling animated movies. Best known for the short filmRyan, which won the 2005 Academy Award© for Best Animated Short Film, as well as other great films like The End (1995), The Spine (2009), in his unique artistic style of Psychorealism, he’s created in motion picture an illustration of the abstract mind.
We welcome him and You for a 7pm performance at The Royal with a behind the scenes question answer period.
The 9pm post party and poster autograph session will be hosted at The Monarch Tavern.
