The Show

The SIGGRAPH 2020 Computer Animation Festival Electronic Theater Traveling Show features a selection of innovative animated short films, visual effects reels, and more. The films were produced by professionals and students from around the world and were originally shown as part of the SIGGRAPH 2020 Computer Animation Festival Electronic Theater, a leading annual festival for the world’s most groundbreaking, accomplished, and amazing digital filmmakers. For 2020, the content in its original form premiered during the first-ever virtual SIGGRAPH conference, 17–28 August. The annual festival is a qualifying event of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Since 1999, several works originally presented in the SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival have gone on to be nominated for or receive the Best Animated Short Film Oscar.
