The Toronto ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter is delighted to host the SIGGRAPH 2016 Traveling Computer Animation Show! This show is a subset of the conference’s premiere show, the Electronic Theater, which is selected by an internationally recognized jury. The Computer Animation Festival at SIGGRAPH is recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival. Since 1999, several works originally presented at SIGGRAPH have been nominated for or have received a Best Animated Short Academy Award.
For this edition of our show, we are excited to partner with a venue that caters to the community we serve. Electric Perfume is a studio and event space where interactive and immersive projects are built, playtested, and exhibited with a focus on public feedback and learning. We can think of no better environment for our screening!
Join us at Electric Perfume where Toronto’s own Vib Soundrarajah, member of the SIGGRAPH 2016 Conference Computer Animation Festival Subcommittee, will host. Feast your eyes and delight your senses with us on June 28th. This is the screening you do NOT want to miss!
We hope to see you there!
